Happy Friday! I’m super excited about today’s post. It’s post #2 from my Repeat Offender series featuring this gorgeous bell sleeve top but I’m also teaming up with my blogger besties on a fun little collaboration with Vera Bradley.
We’ve already touched on why it’s good to be a girl around here. But sometimes I think it’s good to be a girl because we get to hang with the boys! I wouldn’t be a true Tennessee Alumni if I didn’t love a good Tennessee football tailgate. But I’ll have to say, half the fun is getting dressed for the tailgate. We’re all about finding the perfect orange & white tailgate outfit over at My Kind of Lovely. And I always love giving the whole football game/tailgate outfit a little spin of my own. For today’s I dressed down my white bell sleeve top with distressed denim, tennies and a hat for a super casual, comfortable outfit that will easily get me through a day of tailgating and football game going. Just add on this cute little leather backpack and we’re all set for a day at the game!
I love Vera Bradley’s #ItsGoodToBeAGirl campaign and how they encourage all aspects of why it’s good to be a girl. From girls nights out to shopping sprees, to tailgating at football games. Downtown/Market square has SO many great places! Stock & Barrel for great burgers and whiskey, Chivo or Babalou for tacos, guac and margaritas, FIVE bar for Sunday brunch, Tupelo Honey for brunch, lunch or dinner, Downtown Grill & Brewery for just a chill brewery atmosphere and bar-ish food, J.C. Holloway is new , I haven’t been yet, but I’ve heard great things and the chef is fab!
