Pennington Home - Home and Decor Store in Sweetwater TN

I am beyond excited to share my next Shop Local Series! Today I’m featuring my sweet friend, Adam, of Pennington Home. Adam started as a small space in My Kind of Lovely about a year and a half ago and this October he opened his storefront in Downtown Sweetwater! Caroline and I are so happy to encourage other small business owners and we are so, so happy for Adam!

If you’re not familiar with the area, Sweetwater is right next to Madisonville, so he’s just one short little drive from our Madisonville store. Sweetwater has the cutest Historic Downtown, complete with shops, cafes, and antique stores. It’s the perfect location for Adam’s home store and we wish him overflowing success here!

Adam has the most amazing eye for design. He can seriously make a room come to life in no time. He helped us with our MKL Madisonville remodel, he guided us in our MKL Knoxville buildout, he basically designed Caroline’s nursery and all have turned out 10x better than anything we could have done ourselves! So you can imagine his store is beyond amazing. From the moment I stepped in I was in awe of how perfectly curated, designed and gorgeous everything looked. Right now the Christmas decor is so good it will seriously take your breath away!

Ok, you get it, he’s good. But let’s get to the goods! Adam carries a lot of different home decor. He has everything from antique furniture pieces, to home statement pieces, to small knick knacks, Christmas decor and he even has an adorable baby & kids section. If you have a mom, sister, family member who likes unique home pieces. I’m certain you can find them something at Pennington Home! Even a gift card would be a great gift to someone who loves home decor shopping but you’re not quite sure what to pick out for them. It would also be a great gift for a newly engaged or married person on your list! I know I can’t wait to shop Pennington Home for my new, married, home!
