As promised in Tuesday’s post here’s a little recap of our My Kind of Lovely birthday celebration! Our second birthday was a big day for us not only because it was our second birthday but because we introduced a new store addition, Pennington Home, a home store within My Kind of Lovely run by one of our friends, Adam Pennington. We also did a few awesome upgrades to the shop and introduced some new product lines that we were totally excited about! {You can get a peek at what the shop looked like at our 1st birthday here!}

We’re so excited to add Adam to the My Kind of Lovely Dream Team! He’s the perfect addition and all these wonderful store updates would not have happened without him! {Follow Pennington Home on Instagram Here}

We added Anthropologie wallpaper behind the checkout counter that we’re totally obsessed with! It makes the perfect statement and looks so great with our signature gold pieces on it. {Funny story, my sweet someone special got me those gold MKL letters for Christmas and they were the perfect finishing touch to the wall paper. He did good!}

We repainted inside and added new carpet which really brightened the space up and made a world of a difference to the entire shop!

We also debuted a new line of tee’s called BESTee’s! They’re a My Kind of Lovely exclusive and we’re super excited they’ll be online next week!

Aside from all the work we put into planning and executing all the fun & exciting things we had the best time celebrating with our customers! We’re always so thankful when our customers come out to show their support but the fact that we had a line of people who were just as excited about the event as we were just blows us away! Caroline & I are beyond blessed to be able to do what we do and have the support of our hometown!
