Not So Boring Basics

A solid neutral color combo is one of the easiest go-to’s for getting dressed on days when you just don’t feel like being creative. Since I’m not really a neutral kinda girl a lot of my basics don’t get a lot of wear on a regular basis for the fear of being “boring.” But when you mix things up like adding a trendy heel and play around with your proportions by adding a longer cardigan with a shorter skirt you come up with a “basic” outfit that is anything but boring!

On another note, I’m currently on a much needed vacation with the family! I was really excited to get away for a long weekend and spend a little time relaxing and maybe getting around to working on some posts that didn’t get posted last week. Oops!
