Happy New Year! I hope everyone’s 2016 is off to a fabulous start!

I’m kicking off my very first outfit post of 2016 with an outfit I’ve been living in lately. I’ve really been trying to edit my closet to make sure it’s full of things I love and wear often and lately those tend to be a mix of highs and lows which I love. I love finding affordable basics because I don’t mind wearing them out. These black high waisted jeans from Old Navy are my latest obsession (you can just ask my friends!) and you can’t go wrong with Old Navy button downs (I’ve worn this one here, here & here & it’s on sale for $15!) not to mention I think I need this $28 tank in every color. So that makes the bulk of the outfit significantly less than $100! Then I just have added a few of my absolute favorite splurge worthy accessories which are all a little more towards the higher end but all are pieces that I love and will continue to wear again and again. A Kendra Scott necklace & Jeffrey Campbell boots are definitely great investment pieces in my book!
