Happy Friday friends! But today I’m back with the Repeat Offender series with a little revamped name. I actually started the series as I was brainstorming fun, branded projects for Pearls & Twirls. When I started this blog I really wanted to share lots of different ways to wear pieces already in your closet. I think fashion and style blogs now have become a little more shopping focused, and focused on what you can go out and buy and wear now, which is great, just not super attainable. When I started Pearls & Twirls I really wanted to share my story of putting together outfits from my own closet, not because I’m good at shopping! So back to the story, I started the repeat offender series to kind of get back to those roots but just recently realized my tag line was wayyyy more perfect to use as the title than boring ole repeat offender! So I’m rebranding my own series and it has a new name for August!
Style. Inspire. Repeat.
It’s too perfect for the series! I’m picking out one piece to style a month to hopefully inspire you and repeating it 3 more times throughout the month! It’s perfect! I’m excited to give the series a fresh a little look and get inspired to really take it up a notch and give ya’ll some awesome outfit inspiration!
This month I’m styling these amazing Vince Camuto booties I picked up from Nordstrom. I typically like to keep the piece under $100 but these are seriously so good, ya’ll. They’re $149 which is on the higher end, but I’m hoping they’re going to wear really well. I don’t like spending a lot on shoes because I’m SO hard on mine. I seriously wear the heels off my booties every season! But a good bootie is crucial for fall and winter outfits. I literally wear them everyday and have somehow deemed them appropriate to wear to everything which I suppose is ok. I decided to choose these for this month’s series because they’re so versatile. They have a super flattering low cut so they’re actually perfect to wear with everything from dresses to shorts to jeans. I have short legs, so the low cut makes them perfect to wear now with cutoffs and dresses because they actually make my legs look long! But they’re also going to look great with skinny jeans which is a #1 requirement.
