J.Crew top, American Eagle jeans, J.Crew shoes, Marc Jacobs x Target clutch, Karen Walker Sunglasses, gifted Jojo Loves You earrings, CC Skye, Stella & Dot and gifted Mae Movement bracelets
Bright colors and ponytails are becoming summer staples for me (as they should be) and I’ve recently added a few fun bracelets to my arm party. Two of which I’m especially excited to share about, my Mae Movement bracelets! I’m actually linking up with a few fellow bloggers today to spread the Mae Movement love. Haven’t heard of the Mae Movement yet? Let me introduce you…
Mae Movement is more than just arm candy, each bracelet is hand crocheted by women artisans in Nepal’s Katmandu Valley. Living in this third world country these women face many challenges including malnutrition, illiteracy, disease and human trafficking. Mae Movement provides these Nepalese women and their families with a sustainable living through fair trade and allowing them to work from the comfort of their homes. A portion of the proceeds goes directly to the foundation Friends of Maiti Nepal.
“Everyone has their own movements, when people better themselves; they also benefit those around them. Mae Movement encourages these personal movements, big or small. Inspiration should not be restricted to something you read or hear, instead something you can wear to serve as a constant reminder of your goals and dreams.”
What an awesome company. Be sure to check out how all the other ladies styles their Mae Movement bracelets and BIG thank you to Mae Movement for choosing us to participate! I couldn’t think of a more amazing brand to partner with!
