I think I’ve officially found my go-to, easy everyday makeup routine that works on my skin, gives the perfect amount of coverage and lasts all day. I’ve honestly never been more in love with a makeup/skincare brand as much as I am with It Cosmetics (now available at Sephora!) and you’re about to see a whole lot of it in this post! I keep trying out new things and am never disappointed, as a matter of fact, it quickly ends up becoming a staple in my makeup bag! (And I swore I was going to stop buying expensive mascara!) So step by step I’m going to walk you through my easy everyday makeup routine.
Step One: It Cosmetics CC+ Cream in Light & Bye Bye Undereye Concealer in Light & Heavenly Luxe Complexion Perfection Brush
I put both on the back of my hand and do concealer under my eyes first. I then move on to a full face of CC Cream and I apply both of these with the It Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Complexion Perfection Brush and use the small end for concealer and the large side for the CC Cream.
Step Two: It Cosmetics Hello Light Anti Aging Luminizing Light Stick & CC+ Vitality Brightening Cream Blush in Naturally Pretty (I don’t think they make this anymore but think the trio (linked) would be awesome to try out!)
While I’ve applied a cream base I keep the creams going and apply a cream blush on my cheeks and a little bit of highlight to the tops of my cheekbones and down the center of my face.
Step Three: Mary Kay Mineral Foundation & Bare Minerals Precision Face Brush
Next I finish off the base with a little powder foundation. I feel like this is super important to keeping the full face of makeup all day and I’ve really loved the way this Mary Kay foundation works with the CC Cream. It sets the creams in place and definitely finishes off the full face.
Step Four: It Cosmetics Your Most Beautiful You Anti-Aging Face Palette – Highlight and apply with Elf Cosmetics Sculpting Face Brush & Bare Minerals Blush in Daybreak (No longer available but Beauty is the closest shade) with Bare Minerals Brush
Next up I dust a little blush oh my cheeks and finish it off with a little more highlight on my cheek bones. I love this angled Elf cosmetics brush because it perfectly fits right on my cheekbone for the perfect highlight!
Step Five: It Cosmetics Superhero Mascara & It Cosmetics Brow Power
I’m definitely a low maintenance eye makeup girl and I usually do a light shimmer eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara, but lately my routine has changed a little bit, quite possibly because this mascara is so good! Lately I’ve only been wearing mascara and some filled in brows and that’s it! It’s so nice, quick and easy and I love it!
