Velvet is everywhere these days and I kind of love it! I can’t stop buying velvet shoes, and for good reason, they’re just so cute! I wore these little gold velvet mules to a wedding last month and got so many compliments on them! An older lady came up to me and told me how fashionable I was because she saw velvet shoes in a magazine recently. And I thought that was just the best compliment! I should have given her a business card and told her to follow me here, but figured that would take quite a bit of explaining so I just smiled and took the compliment! 😉
But real talk, velvet shoes are so in right now and you totally need a pair for the holidays! They make such a fun statement with a simple all black outfit or make a fun addition to a graphic tee and boyfriend jeans! I love open toed ones for special occasions but since it is getting colder closed toe and boots will definitely go a little further. Although I do love these gold velvet ones from Forever 21 for dressier outfits and also still love them with tights! And for under 30 bucks they’re a steal!
