Today we’re talking gifting. Tis the season for weddings, bridal showers, baby showers and more! Sometimes it’s hard to stay on top of gifts especially when you’ve got events almost every weekend! I’ve got two back to back bridal showers this weekend so I totally know what it feels like to be scrambling for gifts all the time!
My mom is one of those people who keeps gifts on hand. Ya know, a little stash of great gifts that everyone will love and they’re super easy to grab at any moment. Great for birthdays, housewarmings, just because, etc. And she even has a few go-to wedding gifts and baby gifts that she knows she can grab in case she can’t go shopping for something on the registry. And this is serious goals! I have such a hard time finding/making time to do those gift shopping errands! But luckily I’ve found there are great ways to become much better at this.
I love shopping someones registry but if I know I’m giving more than one gift I usually will do one from the registry and one that’s a more personalized, unique gift, just for fun. Stick to a traditional one and then do a fun one! These are great because you can always pick out that personalized gift (or personalized gifting website) and always have that idea in the back of your mind so you can plan accordingly. It’s much easier to plan when you at least have a little something in mind! I love picking out something fun for close friends or people who I know will love a personalized travel map or these cute college pillows (I pictured a his & hers version of mine and Jared’s colleges, because, how fun?!) You can also always have a few other easy gift options on hand like a cute basket set, cool coasters or a funny door mat that are great for almost everyone! These are perfect to stock up on and have in the gift closet when you get a last minute invitation and don’t have time to shop.
