So first off can someone please tell me how it’s already March 12? How fast is this year FLYING by? With that said, summer and warm weather will be here before we know it and while I’m so ready for less clothing I know I’m not 100% ready. As I’ve gotten busier over the last few weeks, my workouts haven’t been as high priority and my grab and go soup and sandwich lunch options have become more of an everyday thing. So, before this gets a little too out of hand it’s time to re-evaluate and get motivated again! A few things that I’m doing to get motivated…
1. Make a plan – As organized as I like to be in most all parts of my life my meal plan is definitely not one of them. This week I’m breaking out my meal planner and will be planning out each meal of the week. Even when eating out!
2. List of goals – Listing out goals is such an easy way to stay motivated. Even if they’re simple goals. Here are mine.
-Try a new workout
-Get in at least 4 hard workouts a week
-Get at least 1 run a week in (totally have been slacking in the running department)
-Plan meals, grocery shop and prepare week’s food accordingly every Sunday
-Try out a green smoothie
-Drink more water, less crap
3. Cute workout clothes – Now I am personally not shopping right now but once I can I do need a new pair of shoes. While looking around for a new pair I couldn’t help myself noticing all the bright, fun workout pieces out there. It’s easy to stay motivated when you like what you’re wearing right? 😉
