I may not be much into beauty but I’m alllll about a good lip. Up until this year I’ve never been a brown or nude lip kinda girl. I always reach for the pinks and reds. Always! I blame the 90’s style being back in but I’ve really been loving a nude lip lately! I’ve been straying from my typical go-to’s for the past 5+ years (NARS Schiap & Heat Wave) and have been trying out lots of new lip colors so I wanted to share some of my current favs here. I’ve been reaching for more muted tones and richer colors. Hope you guys love these as much as I have!
Tarte Double Duty Lip Sculptor in VIP – It has a lipstick and a gloss that can be worn together or separate. I’m not much for glossy lips but I did wear both for these photos just because I wanted to show the full look. I do prefer it without the gloss and it really has become my new everyday lipstick. I don’t leave the house without it!
MAC Matte Lipstick in Velvet Teddy – This is such a good deep nude lip. When I first put it on I thought it was too dark but after wearing it around a little I actually really love it. It’s perfect for a night out or when you’re going for a more grungy look. (Both MAC Lipsticks featured are half price at Ulta on Wednesday, making them only $8.50!!)
MAC Matte Finish Lipstick in Russian Red – I do love a deep red lip for fall and winter. There are so many different colors of red that it’s always hard to find the perfect one. This one has blue undertones and I seriously love it’s deep, rich color for a fall and winter red. (Both MAC Lipsticks featured are half price at Ulta on Wednesday, making them only $8.50!!)
Stilla Stay All Day Lipstick in Fiore – I’ll always love my pinks! While this one is definitely still a bright pink, I do think it’s has a deeper pink color which makes it a little more fall ready than the really bright hot pinks. It’s perfect for when you’re looking for a bright pop of pink on your lips. And the Stilla Stay All Day formula is one of my favorites! It really does stay all day!
