Over the past few years I’ve totally become a denim girl. I don’t really know what changed, I think my style has just gotten a little more laid back. But I will say it makes life so much easier. Getting dressed is a breeze each day and most of all I’m pretty comfortable in my favorite denim pieces. Denim shorts, denim jackets, jeans, denim jumpsuits and even dresses are totally my jam right now. Add in a little summer denim on denim and we’re good to go!
Enter two of my favorite denim pieces right now. This super lightweight cropped denim jacket and my favorite denim shorts!
Summer Denim on Denim Favorites:
This denim jacket is the best for summer because it’s super lightweight. It’s the perfect summer layer, especially for when you’re indoors with the AC blasting, or when you just need a layer over your summer dresses for work or church. I’ve been wearing it with my denim shorts non stop. I love a good denim on denim look!

I tried on these AGolde denim cutoffs last year and loved them. I didn’t splurge on them because I found a similar pair from Topshop that I also loved and didn’t need both. So after wanting them for a year now, I finally decided to splurge on them and I’m so glad I did! I love them and have been wearing them non stop. If you’re looking for a great pair, these come highly recommended. There’s a reason everyone loves them! They’re that good. Not too distressed, great shape, not too short, and plenty of leg room! They also have a longer and higher waisted pair that I’ve been suggesting to my taller girls or mamas who not quite into the short shorts thing.
