I’m back from a fun blogger conference to Charleston with a cute little Charleston outfit! This year’s trip to Charleston for #TBSCon felt like even more of a whirlwind than last year even though the actual conference was longer. It may have been because there was more on the schedule or it may have been because things are crazy right now, who knows! Either way it was still a great trip! I was a little sad and less excited to tackle the conference this year without my blogging besties, Julie, Shelby and Jess but I got along just fine with Josh (our favorite addition to the crew from last year’s conference!) and some new friends. It was a great time, I learned some great stuff and I’m excited to be back and get a little re-inspired to start sharing all that new content I talked about a little while back!

Now, on to the outfit. I was going for the most perfect Charleston outfit and I loved what I came up with. I’m literally obsessed with these pants and since they’re not quite my usual boho style I was pretty excited to have an excuse to style them up for Charleston! They’re so perfectly Charleston, and I love any excuse to dress in a theme so I had so much fun putting my conference outfit together. This little white off the shoulder top has done me well this season! I’ve worn it with boyfriend jeans, skinny jeans and a hat, a denim skirt, cut offs and now these pants. Then I just snagged this cute little boater hat from Sole Society (& it’s on sale!) just before the trip because I knew it would also get some more use before summer’s up! Then I just topped it off with some cute bracelets, a red lip, and a great bag to tote the essentials: notebook, pen, wallet, phone, phone charger and camera and I was conference ready!
Oh, and not pictured or mentioned these terrible Target wedges that broke the next night while walking down King Street, don’t buy Target shoes, people! These got 3 wears and both straps broke! ha!

Yikes at the Target shoes. I’m glad you weren’t hurt. Last time a pair of shoes broke for me (a Zigi Soho knockoff from Walmart that I’d worn for years), I ended up tripping on the stairs and smashing up my knee.
Oh my gosh that’s horrible!! Yes, mine luckily didn’t cause a fall although I was stepping off a curb and it definitely could have thrown me in the road! ha!
Very pretty ensemble!
