LIKEtoKNOW.it

I’m quite certain that a lot of you are probably very familiar with LIKEtoKNOW.it and use it on a regular basis but to my surprise I’ve actually gotten an increased amount of questions about it lately. Not to mention I have heard over and over again how much some people love it. So I wanted to make sure to share the love over here as well! I’ve even started using it a lot more regularly lately so even more reason to dedicate a post to it. It really is instagram shopping perfected after all!

What is it? LIKEtoKNOW.it actually makes instagram posts shop-able. If you head over to liketoknow.it and sign up with your email address all you have to do is like a blogger’s photo on instagram and you’ll automatically receive an email with product details in an easy to shop format! It makes things super easy for us bloggers to get our daily content straight to your inbox! Typically I’ll instagram a photo from each of my blog posts through LIKEtoKNOW.it so if you’re like me and don’t quite have time to head directly to the blog to shop the look, you can like the photo and check out the email a little later.  You can also browse the desktop version if you think you may have missed a post along the way. You can see all my LIKEtoKNOW.it posts at liketoknow.it/pearlsandtwirls. It really does make shopping your favorite blogger’s looks super easy!

Another question I typically get is why aren’t some things linked through LIKEtoKNOW.it and why don’t we link My Kind of Lovely through LIKEtoKNOW.it? Well the easy answer is not every retailer participates in affiliate programs. Just because someone has a website does not mean that they’re able to be linked. This also includes My Kind of Lovely. We hope one day MKL will be linkable but we’re not quite there yet! So in the example above, my top & shorts are actually My Kind of Lovely and aren’t able to be linked, but everything else is so that’s what you can shop below. I try to always tag the brands that aren’t able to be linked just as a heads up to what’s coming to your inbox.
