Who loves a good treasure hunt?! There’s something super satisfying about finding a diamond in the rough vintage find. And that’s where this killer leather pencil skirt comes in. Seriously how good is this?! I scooped it up at a local upscale consignment event in Knoxville a few years ago and have embarrassingly hung onto it for a few years despite the fact that it doesn’t fit! When I purchased it I knew it looked small but it was sized a 10 so I thought for sure I could squeeze into it. Well that’s true vintage for ya. No vanity sizing! It was wayyy too snug about 10 lbs ago but since I’ve toned up with the Faster Way To Fat Loss it fits now! Wahoo! It’s still a little snug still but I’m kinda obsessed with it!
So, are you up for searching for some good vintage finds?! Statemint Consignment is Knoxville’s upscale consignment event and it’s coming up! I’m selling again this year and have SO MUCH but I also can’t wait to do a little digging myself! I love that it’s an upscale event and you can find some seriously good deals. I’m taking brands like Rebecca Minkoff, Show Me Your Mumu, Paige Denim and even some really great Asos finds! Statemint’s next event is September 8 – 10 so I’ve got a little over a month to prep and keep cleaning out that closet! If you’re local you definitely want to go ahead and mark that calendar to check the event out! If you can, I’d suggest getting there on Friday though because the good stuff goes fast! The year I got this skirt I had just missed a vintage Chanel bag (whaaat?!) I was seriously so sad I missed it!
