Star Power & A Dose of Inspiration

How To Find Inspiration

Stars are kinda my thing so I’ve been totally embracing the fact that they’re back “in style” and have been scooping up everything I can get my hands on! Seriously I just love it all! I don’t really know where my love for stars came from. Maybe it’s because I’ve always been a dreamer and the “shoot for the stars” quotes always spoke to me. Who knows, but the cute stars that are out there are totally vibing with my star tattoo and my little baby star earring I never take out. What do ya’ll think? Are you as into the star trend as me?!

Let’s talk inspiration.

As humans we go through these crazy life ups and downs and I have been feeling in an inspirational rut lately. I sit down to write posts and I just can’t think of the words. I’ve done some online shopping and that still doesn’t fill the void. I take some time off and away from the internet and am still just meh. Feeling like I do all the “right things” but still have just been feeling blah.

Well, a super fun opportunity came my way last week and I can already feel the excitement building and the inspiration coming back. It’s so hard to pinpoint why you’re feeling a certain way sometimes or even how to change it! It’s so frustrating! The opportunity to take a little weekend trip to Florida came my way and am realizing I’m SO EXCITED because I haven’t gotten out of town in a while! I know just booking a last minute trip isn’t very attainable for everyone, but if you’re feeling in a little bit of a rut, like I’ve been, try to think of something that brings you joy, that you haven’t done in a while! Maybe you just need a night with a friend or even just some alone time. You might need to go shopping or go workout. Or just maybe you need to get out of town! (Or maybe we all just need some real Spring weather! Ha! I do think the weather might be a slight factor in my slump!)

If you’re in a rut and need a little inspiration on how to get out, I did a whole post with 5 tips to get you out of a rut! It’s a good one and I think this trip also falls under the category of “Do something out of your comfort zone” which is awesome and I’m glad Jared gave me the push to go for it when I didn’t feel confident in saying yes! I’ll be sharing a lot more about the trip soon, so stay tuned!
