Gifts That Give Back: $35 and Less

Who doesn’t love an affordable and charitable gift? As I mentioned last week I love the idea of gifting a gift that gives back this holiday season and I’ve rounded up a few of my favorites to share with you today.

The Giving Keys is a line that My Kind of Lovely has been carrying for a few months now and it’s one that I just love telling their story. Each piece is a repurposed key that is hand stamped with a word and they encourage each person who purchases a key to give it away at some point to someone they feel needs the message, then you share your story with them after you’ve done so. They also employ those who are looking to transition out of homelessness. After reading some of the stories on their website from the homeless that they’ve employed to the pay it forward stories it just warms my heart. I love wearing my two giving keys, “inspire” & “love” as they remind me to do both of those things every day. I’m just waiting for the perfect time and a special someone to pass them off to. {Read more about The Giving Keys here & you can shop My Kind of Lovely’s selection of Giving Keys! Another two of my favorites are TOMS and FEED. Both aren’t new to the scene but I love that they are both now offering more affordable products that still give back. The Toms x Target Collection still gives a pair of shoes, a blanket or meals to those in need for every purchase. And I love that with every FEED product you purchase it tells you exactly how you’re helping. For example, the FEED 5 bracelets are only $18 and provide 5 school meals for each one. I think it’s fantastic that these companies are making it easy to help those in need. And how great is it that you don’t have to spend a ton of money to make a difference!?
