I know Show Me Your Mumu is really known for their prints, but I also REALLY love them for their solids in some of their classic styles. I got the Tortuga Tie Top in white last summer to go with these adorable gingham shorts (full outfit here) and was shocked at how much I loved the top and how often I wore it! This off the shoulder crop top seemed like a must have after how much I wore the Tortuga. I ended up snagging it at the end of the season because of how versatile it is! And of course, I’ve ended up pairing it with SO MUCH this summer!
My Favorite Summer Top
Having an easy go-to that you know you can always grab to pair with your fun bottoms is a must. It also is nice for when you’re shopping and come across something super fun, like these vintage floral culottes, you know you have a top you can throw on with them! If you’re like me and love a fun bottom, but don’t always have a plan for them, this is it! An off the shoulder cropped top like this one is perfect! It’s too cropped to wear with anything except high waisted, but luckily most all of my bottoms are these days.
I will say I was skeptical paying Mumu price for a basic top like this one, but I’ve decided that splurging on gorgeous staple pieces that you can wear and wear and wear are definitely worth it. I wore this top last summer, this summer and don’t see me getting rid of it any time soon! And to reference last week’s Shopaholics Anonymous series, this is a great example of finding a piece that you like, that fits your style and is super versatile. Just don’t forget to put it to good use! Wear it! (I also am wearing it in this post & in this post!)
I’ve rounded up a few similar options in all price points! (one’s as low as $10!) If you’re interested in finding one for yourself!

In other news, I got these pants from the Spring Statemint Consignment sale and they totally give me all the grandma vibes but I love them so much! I’ve worn them often this spring and summer and I’m already thinking on how I can wear them into fall. Ha! They’ll totally go with a leather jacket right?! (I’m actually thinking maybe so?!)
