Maxi dress season is here and I’m obsessed! Seriously, I always get so excited to break out the maxi dresses in the spring! We’ve got some of the best ones we’ve ever had at My Kind of Lovely right now and I couldn’t be more excited about it!
As soon as we saw this gorgeous dress at market I knew it was a must because a) it’s gorgeous and b) it’s a less expensive version of this one from Free People! (ahem, like half the price!) I love the super low cut of it, but it may limit my places I can wear it. I’m going to sew in a little clasp so I can wear it like this, or wear it a little more buttoned up. (I would say less revealing, but I’m not revealing much – ha!) Speaking of the low cut, I always have a hard time making things with a deep v stay put. Having that drawstring allows you to tie it just how you want and it surprisingly makes it not budge! I felt comfortable and confident in this baby and it’s my new favorite piece in my closet!

I think I may make this one my Easter dress but I’m also really loving the shape and movement of this gorgeous white one and the pretty sage one.
