The Southern Blog Society Brunch

Joining the Southern Blog Society has honestly been one of the best blogging decisions I’ve made. (If you’re a southern blogger and haven’t joined – join!) It’s made networking and meeting other bloggers in my area a breeze and while I still haven’t met even close to everyone in my area, we tweet, comment, and support each other all day long! It’s been so fun meeting other people passionate about the same things I am that are located right here in my area! I mean, Julie lives less than two hours from me and we’re already planning trips to see each other and fun meetups and trips in the future. It’s seriously so. much. fun!

Cathy and Jessica

As I mentioned in Tuesday’s post, I feel completely honored and had a bit of a “pinch me” moment on Sunday as I was sitting at brunch with a table full of inspiring, hard working and completely amazing ladies! The Southern Blog Society Brunch was a raffle brunch and there was a select number of 15 bloggers who were able to attend so you can imagine my excitement when I got the email that I was chosen!

Shelby, Julie and I stayed at the W Hotel for the weekend and the brunch was conveniently hosted at the W’s Cook Hall. Cathy and Jessica put together some prettttyy amazing swag bags for us to take home and I’m still processing that I brought home Paige denim, Benefit Cosmetics, a Lulu’s and Macy’s gift card, A Vineyard Vines wine tote, some of the cutest jewelry and so much more! Not to mention the bottomless mimosa and bloody mary bar along with some of the most amazing food.

And now on to my outfit. I’ll have to admit, I didn’t find this skirt on my own. I fell in love with it when I saw it on Sarah and it was right around the time ASOS was having a sale and I needed an outfit for the brunch. Done and Done!
