It’s no secret I love a good lipstick! And honestly I feel like lipsticks are the most fun and make the biggest statement in the summer! You can do a bare, glowy face, throw on a bright lip and natural hair and you’ve got yourself the perfect summer lewk! I usually alternate between a lighter, easy to wear pink, a bright pink and bright coral/red. If I’ve got these three on hand, I’m good to go! The best thing is you can literally order all of these online from Nordstrom and have them delivered straight to your door! I’ve been talking a lot about how important easy shopping/delivery is and that’s one thing I do love about shopping at Nordstrom!
I also love playing around with different types of lipsticks. I’m not really one to be committed to a certain type, brand or finish, so basically I have them all covered with these. A liquid that turns matte, a semi matte cream lipstick and more glossy, shiny lipstick. And honestly I love them all! Totally depends on how I’m feeling and the look I’m going for. I’m not a makeup pro, but I do know my lipsticks! So here they are listed from lighter weight to long wear.
Dior Addict Stellar Shine
I got the color Magnetic Smile and this is my favorite everyday pink! It’s a more sheer, shiny pink and I never thought I’d say this, but I’m loving the more shiny/glossy look these days. This is the lipstick that I keep in my purse and literally can break out and wear with anything. Light makeup, full face of makeup, wear it at the pool or wear it dressed up. It’s a pretty pink that looks great with everything!
NARS Audacious Lipstick
This was also one of my picks for my Summer Beauty Favorites. This lipstick formula is one of my favorites! It is a satin, matte-finish, so it glides on smooth and dries more semi-matte in my opinion which I really like. This one isn’t a stay all day lipstick but I do also like that for easy wear. I love the shade Lana as a more fiery coral/red that’s perfect for summer!
Stilla Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick
The Stilla Stay All day liquid lipstick is a classic! I have quite a few different shades in this one but the shade Fiore is my favorite bright pink! This is one of the prettiest, true pink lipsticks I have! It’s not super bright pink but definitely a gorgeous, bold pink. It is very matte, goes on as a cream and then dries. You can do gloss on top if you like a more glossy look but I love it as is. And yes, it actually does stay all day!
