California Love

If you follow me on instagram you saw the big news last night! Jared and I are engaged!! We couldn’t be more excited to start this journey together! We’ve been engaged for a little while but took time to tell our close friends and family before sharing with everyone else. It’s been so fun to celebrate with our close loved ones and to be able to break the news to them in person! It’s been quite the whirlwind of an engagement already (I was beyond shocked when he proposed) but we’re so excited!

We’re just returning from a quick trip to California today and after such a fun weekend together we decided now was the perfect time to share with everyone! Jared is a livestock judge and we were in California for him to judge a two day show outside Sacramento. It’s a gorgeous area and we loved driving through California. The almond trees were in bloom (you can see them in this insta pic) and the farmland in California is just beautiful! I loved that we got to see California a little different on this trip and go off the beaten path. We’re already crossing our fingers he gets invited back next year!

Jared is always such a good sport about taking my blog photos, (I think he actually enjoys it most of the time). But we did a great job of making sure we took a little extra time to get my outfits shot and I’m so glad we did! We flew in Friday morning and had the day to wander around Sacramento. While wandering, I was so excited when we stumbled upon these trees in downtown! We’re still not quite sure what kind of trees they are, but they’re absolutely gorgeous. All colors, all in bloom and all pinks, reds and whites. It was such a dream!
