If you follow me on instagram you’ve seem my obsession for all the Monat Skin Care products. But I wanted to do a little deep dive here on why I love the skincare so much and really share how it’s been a game changer for me. Scroll down for all the info!!
I’m a brand rep for the company because I whole heartedly stand behind the company and the products. I’m literally obsessed! My hair was good before I started the products but I still have seen a huge difference in my locks from the hair products.
But my skin on the other hand….I literally used to NEVER put my un makeup-ed face on insta stories because I thought my skin was so bad. My skin is clear, luckily I don’t suffer from acne, but my sunspots were so bad. I blame YEARS of laying in the tanning bed and on the beach with tanning lotion. I’m still so mad at myself over that. The sun damage on my face was bad.
But anyway, here we are, spotty skin and all. I’ve loved the hair products so when they launched skin care I thought, might as well try it all out! I mean what the heck do I have to lose?! And to be honest I literally love all the products. They are pricy, but not more than any other medical grade skincare or anything that’s actually going to work on your skin. I think my hold up with skincare was always, Ok- it’s such a big investment but what if it doesn’t do anything?! And then do you keep trying new, expensive things? Or just go back to not wasting money on things that don’t work and just buy Cetaphil cleanser and a good moisturizer?! Skincare has always overwhelmed me and stressed me out!
Monat Skincare: My Current Skincare Obsession
So that’s why I love using a trusted brand, that doesn’t have a million options, and I can just stick with this. Super simple.
Over time, they’ve added new products and I’ve added new products to my collection, but when the following photos were taken, I was just using 4 products. The cleanser, essence water, nectar (serum) and moisturizer. A great basic routine for anyone. I’ve since also become obsessed with the berry scrub and the eye cream, but that’s another story for another post!
But here we are. I’ve gone to hardly showing my spotty non makeup face to using half the amount of makeup I was once using! It’s kind of crazy! But I’m so excited and so happy with the results!
The first photo was taken on Sept 28, the bottom on November 2. These results were just a little over a month apart! It’s truly crazy!
