We’re at that really weird point in the year where all the stores already have spring and summer on the shelves but really it’s still winter. It’s (typically) still cold out and you’re really not quite ready to be wearing your spring clothes just yet. Today I’m rounding up a few different ways, here and on my local morning news, (catch my segment here) you can slowly start to incorporate a little spring into your outfits now. Once you slowly start adding some spring into your life, it will be here before you know it! Here’s to hoping that’s the case anyway!
Spring Sweaters:
As a person who’s always cold, I love a spring sweater. Well into the summer usually, ha! Grab a lightweight sweater in a spring color and you’ll be surprised how many different ways you can wear it! Wear it with jeans now, white denim later, cut offs, skirts and even over a little mini dress! Seriously there will be so many different ways you can wear them! (Hmmm sounds like a good contender for the March Repeat Offender series!)

Pastels:
Start incorporating some spring colors into your outfits now. Maybe push the dark jewel tones to the back of the closet and start wearing those brighter and lighter colors more to help your mood stay a little more focused on spring. I do love the darker colors for fall and winter but I’m almost over them. I’m definitely ready to retire and pull out the pretty pinks and baby blues for spring!

Spring Accessories:
Start breaking out those fun spring accessories if you’re not quite ready to start wearing full on florals and pastels. A little pop of blush pink in your purse or shoes, or maybe even a mint necklace to pop on your black dress. Easy, subtle ways to bring a little spring into your winter neutrals.

Spring Florals:
Some might not be ready to do full on florals, but slowly bringing in a floral tunic here and there and you’ll be ready to be full on floral in no time!
