Happy Valentine’s Day!

How to Wear a Pink Beret

Happy Valentine’s Day friends! I wanted to kick the day of love off with a big ole THANK YOU to all of you!

After pouring a lot of work into this little corner of the internet for over 6 years it’s definitely had it’s ups and downs. But over the past few months I’ve had newfound excitement about this space. I’ve been getting more feedback from you, we’ve been chatting more over on instagram in comments and direct messages and I’ve gotten emails about my posts inspiring you or helping you with something. Yay! These are seriously my fav! I’ve been incorporating a little more real life over here and have been working to help you out with real problems (as I figure them out myself!) and try to make this a little less fashion-y and more just me and you. I don’t feel as confident answering fitness, organization or cooking questions as I do a styling or shopping question but I’m kind of loving dipping my toes into covering more topics over here and getting the conversation started on new things!

So if you’d like to chat about something, feel free to send me an email or a instagram DM! I’d love to chat with you! If you have post ideas, please feel free to send them my way! I have quite a few new ideas that I’m working on but would love to hear what you would like to see! P.S. I asked a few questions last night on my story and have gotten a lot of great feedback! If you haven’t seen it yet, check it out on my instagram story and let me know what you think! {Follow me on instagram here}

How to Wear a Pink Beret

As you can see I’ve been wearing this cardigan non stop and have been loving the beret as well! While this is my second time wearing the beret on the blog, this outfit was actually the first one I put together with the beret! They’re a little intimidating at first, so I went with an easier outfit to style. I kept with the pink theme and added my favorite cropped jeans and white booties. It keep the outfit pretty neutral and let the pinks blend well. It’s also a super easy outfit to recreate! When trying out a beret (or any colored hat) the safest route is sticking to like colors and neutrals. Just mix and match things already in your closet for a look you feel the most comfortable in. Comfort in your outfit is also key when trying out one thing that’s out of your comfort zone!

Also, I’m sharing some fun Galentine’s Day ideas on my local news station this morning that will look a lot like what Lacey and I did for this post! (watch my segment and see my surprise here!!) Is anyone having a fun girls night tonight or this weekend?! I think it’s such a fun way to celebrate and love on your friends! If you need a little inspo check out our post here!
