Easy mix & match outfits have basically been what I’ve been living in this summer! Cute shorts paired with tanks and tees worn allll the different ways! I last wore these shorts as a two piece set in florida, but have also been wearing them non-stop with lots of different tops! Shorts and a tied up tee shirt have been my go-to from everything from work to dinner to weekend!

How To Mix & Match?
If you need a little help with mixing and matching your wardrobe I’d definitely suggest shopping your own closet first. Pull out all your cute graphic tees and tanks. Then check out all your cute bottoms. Grab those shorts, pants and skirts that you might have thought could only be worn one way, aka with whatever you bought to go with it or how ever you wore it in the first place. Then look at all those cute tees and tanks and mix and match those with your bottoms! Don’t be afraid to mix and match a casual tee shirt with a more dressy bottom like I did here. It can totally dress down a skirt or shorts you thought could only be worn one way!
Need to Shop?
Really think about what you NEED to go with those pieces you already have in your closet. I actually bought this light pink tee from Aerie to go under this little jumper but it’s turned out to be the best $20 tee shirt I’ve bought! Because it totally goes with all my bottoms! If you like and would really mix and match easy basic tee shirts like these, stock up on em. This one is from Aerie but Old Navy also has great tees and tanks to choose from. Wait till they have a great sale and stock up! (I think I’m going to pick up a few of these $10 tanks from Old Navy and I also love this pink & white stripe tee) These kind of basics are also great because when you do find an awesome bottom like these cute gingham shorts or an adorable pair of pants, it’s not as intimidating to find the perfect top to go with them. A basic tee can go a long way and it’s an affordable way to get more bang for your buck on some pieces you might just have sitting in your closet!
