5 Tips on How to Have a Great Monday

Wake Up Early

After a great weekend I’m never ready for my Monday morning alarm. NEVER! But I also never regret the Monday mornings I get up early! Regardless of what I have going on, I always set my alarm bright and early on a Monday and do my morning routine.

Write Out Your To-Do List & Schedule for the Day

If you don’t do this on Sunday, I highly recommend doing it first thing on Monday morning. Schedule your day, your week, and all your to-do’s first thing. You know exactly what you need to get done, when and when to start working on things. I typically will write out my schedule for the week on Monday morning. I start my to-dos on Sunday night, it helps me brainstorm and figure out where I need to start on Monday!

Put Your Phone Aside in the Mornings

I know I probably spend a little too much time on my phone on the weekends. Which makes me keep reaching for it on Monday. Put it aside so you’re not distracted and don’t keep reaching for it. Now it’s time to get to work!

Knock Off One Major Thing for the Week

If you’re a procrastinator, you probably tend to put bigger projects or more time consuming to-do’s off. (hi, it’s me!) When you get to work on Monday morning pick one big thing and knock it out! Whewww it feels good to get that done already?! You’re killing it!

Do Something For Yourself

As an enneagram 3, I’m always working working working and often forget to take some time for myself. But when you do something for you, like workout, get your nails done, eat healthy, take a bubble bath, etc it’s a great way to give yourself a little self love. A little reward for all that hard work, ya know!?

Mondays for me are all about setting my week up for success and setting my habits. By waking up earlier, eating healthier, being productive and having a great day, means the rest of my week can follow suit and I love that! It makes for such a more smooth week when Mondays are great!
