Part 2 of our Tennessee Fall Western Wedding is where all the fun happens! The ceremony and reception!
The Ceremony
We did a traditional ceremony. Short and sweet and just us. I was pretty adamant on it being simple and to the point. No frills, no fancy music, no one else up there except me, Jared, Addi & the preacher. We did the ceremony just before sunset in the woods behind the barn venue. It was beautiful and exactly how we wanted it!
The Details
We cannot say enough great things about our wedding venue. The barn and the property were absolutely stunning and once you add your own personal touches to it, it truly is such a magical place. A great venue and a great wedding planner/day of team was essential in making all these dreamy details come to life!
My wedding planner was my amazing cousin, Amanda, owner of a really gorgeous wedding venue outside of Atlanta. She also did all the florals and brought a team to help execute everything and do the day of coordination. They were truly amazing and the only reason the wedding was this magical! Most of the decor was either hers or mine/my moms and it all came together so perfectly!
The Reception
As everyone says, the reception FLEW by but was the most fun night! We kicked it off with our first dance and daddy & daughter dances, my dad and I started and then Addi and Jared came in for their own daddy daughter dance and the party got started! We did local food trucks for dinner and people could eat inside the barn or outside. For our entertainment we had a 90’s Country Band, Babes Bayou, play and it was THE BEST! We sang and danced the night away to all our favorite classic country songs! I’m not really a fan of the traditional garter and bouquet tosses so we didn’t do those, we just cut cake a little later in the night. Instead of a big cake for everyone we did a variety dessert table and had the local creamery bring their food truck with ice cream!
