End of Summer Bucket List

Eek! How is summer already coming to an end?! I have this weird anxiety when seasons are changing where I can think of all the things I still want to do! And summer is my favorite so I always start to worry about working my summer away and not enjoying it! So I plan to soak in as much summer sun as I can before it’s time to cozy up and watch some football! Here are a few things I’m making it my mission to accomplish!

End of Summer Bucket List

Patio Hangs – One of my favorite things is dining/drinking on a patio in the summer evening. I often have a million things to do and it’s never stopping for a relaxing dinner or drinks on a patio but I always miss them when it’s too cold to sit outside. So I’m going to try to get in a few more slow evenings on a patio this summer!

Long Weekend Beach Trip – Jared and I have never been to the beach together! We’ve been quite a few fun places together but never to the beach! We’re really going to try to take a long weekend beach trip next month and I seriously can’t wait!

End of Summer Bucket List

Nashville Day Date – Since Jared and I also live 2.5 hours away from each other and stay really busy we have a hard time seeing each other and when we do we usually just stay in and try to soak up as much time together as possible. But I’m going to plan a fun day trip to Nashville and put it on the calendar so we’re sure to make it happen!

Take the Kayaks Out At Least One More Time – If you missed it, Jared & I got Kayaks this summer and it’s been such a fun thing for us to do together! (I shared all about how they’ve even changed our relationship!) Life for the both of us have gotten really busy and we haven’t taken them out in a few weeks. But hopefully we can take them out at least one more time this summer and maybe even a time or two in the fall!

End of Summer Bucket List

Major Closet Purge – I basically split my time between my house (Knoxville), my parents house (Madisonville) and Jared’s house (Lebanon) and I have things everywhere. I’ve also come to the realization that I only use about 1/10 of the things I have so I’m really working on decluttering and purging my closet and my life. When we get married I want to have only the necessities in my new house and build off that. I have lots and lots to sell and am working on getting them all ready for the Statemint Consignment event next month!

End of Summer Bucket List

Cruze Farm Ice Cream – Cruze Farm is a local dairy farm that has the cutest ice cream truck and pop up shop in downtown Knoxville. They’re seriously the cutest and I haven’t been this year! I definitely need to stop in before the summer’s over!

Start Wedding Planning – So I’ve been majorly overwhelmed by the whole process of wedding planning and am a little intimidated to get started. But I’ve found the dress, I think I know the season so I really need to start making some plans. I’m going to try to have a date and possibly a venue by the end of summer. Surely I can do that, right?!

I totally get this way about summer too, but summer is basically over in a couple of weeks here in Minnesota (September could still be warm, but it’s more hit or miss) and I don’t want to overwhelm myself in the next few weeks. I do need to find more restaurants with patios to go to as that’s definitely one of the things I miss about summer.
