Dressed Up Denim

After a super relaxing weekend I even decided to keep the computer closed Sunday night and skip my Monday blog post! It was such a great weekend catching up on sleep, relaxing and spending as much time outdoors as possible that I just decided to really make the most of it! I did however finally wash my hair Sunday night and took some time to get ready and take some blog photos with my mom. Even if it was just to visit my Grandmother in the nursing home it felt good to get ready and get a jump start on the week.

This dressed up denim shorts outfit is so perfect for summer nights out! All summer long I’m pretty much in either denim shorts or dresses because they’re both so easily dressed up or down. I could switch the heels out for flats if I needed to and the heels make it dressy enough for a night out. These new denim shorts are from DL1961 and while I usually don’t like for shorts to be tight in the legs these are a good balance, they’re fitted but still a little slouchy and I love the longer length to go with longer tops like this one. I’ve loved my DL1961 skinnies so much (you can see how much I’ve worn them here!) I’ve now got the white ones on their way to me and I can’t wait for them to arrive!
