Attention: It’s not quite spring yet, no matter what you’re seeing on the internet or when you look outside your window. These longer sun shiny days can be deceiving. I totally thought I had this winter meets spring outfit figured out until I stepped outside and about froze my stems off! Good news is we’re back in the 60s this weekend! I hope it’s nice, warm and pretty where you are too this weekend!

Old Navy top (old, but way cute updated options), J.Crew chambray top, Gap jeans, Tulle jacket, Zara court shoe, Target purse (the purple is on major sale!), BaubleBar earrings, gifted All Tied Up hair tie
Even though it’s still freezing here I’m so ready for spring colors, outfits and warm weather I can hardly stand it anymore. I’ve been incorporating a lot more color into my outfits and this one was no exception. My mom actually picked up this jacket on major sale and it was a little snug on her so she passed it along to me. So perfect for my spring dressing needs to add in a little color when it’s still in the 30s outside…
J.Crew top, Warehouse skirt (old, but shop all Warehouse skirts here), Joan and David booties via TJ Maxx, J.Crew link bracelet, ASOS spike bracelet, vintage and J.Crew Factory necklaces (similar splurge, similar steal), JTV rings
Outfit #2 of my warehouse shoot and this feathered skirt was just asking to be worn! I actually got this skirt with an ASOS gift card (thanks Caroline!) not knowing how much I would like it and am literally obsessed! It’s such a fun statement piece that will even be fun to wear with just a plain white tee. I originally thought of it as a holiday skirt but I can’t wait to dress it down for a funky casual look come spring and summer.
Old Navy top, Tinley Road skirt, Steve Madden pumps, Forever 21 coat (almost identical and on sale!), ASOS small spike bracelet, big spike bracelet via Poshmark, Max and Chloe handcuff bracelet, JTV rings
This is just a little bit (um, ok a lot) different than my usual looks here on Pearls and Twirls. I really love this outfit but put me in this old dirty warehouse and it totally takes the look to a whole other level. When planning outfits for this particular setting I knew this leather skirt would be the perfect piece to shoot. P.S. if you’re looking for the perfect leather skirt, this is it! And it comes in a gorgeous camel color too, you’re welcome.
So what was I doing in an old warehouse? I did a fun photoshoot with my mom and a few other photographers this day and snuck in a few outfits to shoot for the blog! Stay tuned for look number 2!
Victoria’s Secret PINK tee, Forever 21 jacket and pants, Aldo shoes, Jewelmint and J.Crew Factory necklaces, ASOS, Max and Chloe and J.Crew bracelets, JTV rings, Marc Jacobs x Target clutch, Marc by Marc Jacobs phone case
I’ve been lusting after these pajama-like pants after seeing them first on Alicia from Cheetah is the New Black and then on Jessica from Bows and Sequins and was so sad I missed my chance to get them at Zara. Then when I found them at Forever 21 for 22 bucks I knew I just had to get them! These pants and this jacket were my two final purchases before Ash Wednesday and I know I’ll be wearing the heck out of both of them!
On another note I kind of forgot how to non fashion-obsessed people that these pants in fact do really look like pajama pants. I wore them Saturday and had a few people over to my place before going out and literally heard a guy in the other room say, “no, she’s not going out she’s got her pajamas on!” Ha! I guess these are the risks we take when trying to stay on trend in a not so trendy town.
