Jared & I went on a quick little beach getaway to Destin and had the best time! We don’t make enough time to get away but this trip really make us realize how important it is do it a lot more often! (I even wrote a post on why I haven’t made traveling a priority lately here!) We honestly didn’t do much except sit on the beach and float around in the ocean and it was glorious! Our one activity of the trip was deep sea fishing which was so much fun! But other than that we just grabbed dinner somewhere close and called it a night. Best trip ever.
I wanted to do a quick roundup of some of the outfits I wore while at the beach, so let’s get started with this adorable little dress!
This banana printed dress is one of my summer favorites! It’s so bright and beachy it was a must have for this trip. (It’s currently 30% off at My Kind of Lovely!) I also wore my hair in this little gingham scrunchie the entire trip. With a braid in the ocean and even hair in a ponytail for dinner, it’s even cute on your wrist! We have this one and a few other color combos at My Kind of Lovely right now.

I shared this look already on instagram but I’m in LOVE with this off the shoulder top from My Kind of Lovely! It can be worn off the shoulder or even strapless. After my love for the top in yesterday’s post you can see why I also love this one! It’s so fun for summer and I think will even transition nicely into fall with flare jeans and a hat! I fun top, denim shorts and a hat is a beach staple outfit and I just loved this one!

Another beach must pack for me was this super tropical printed dress from Show Me Your Mumu. In my opinion it’s on the skimpy side, so it’s basically only suitable for the beach which means I’ll be wearing it every beach trip at least once! ha! I do love it with a denim jacket over it as well, so I’ll probably wear it at least one more time this summer, back at home.
