Barre to Brunch

As I’ve mentioned a few times here on the blog I think it’s just as important to stay healthy as it is to stay stylish and while I have no problem with people wearing workout clothes in public I think there are a few quick tricks you can remember to not be that girl. Since my weekday workouts are pretty high intensity I like to take it a little easier on the weekends and Barre and Yoga are usually my go-to’s when I’m wanting something a little more low key. My ideal Saturday would be a morning Barre class followed by brunch with the girls. How to do that while still looking good? First, pack a big bag.

An extra top, cardigan, sunglasses and a water bottle are my packing musts.

If you’re doing a class where no shoes are needed wearing cute flats always keep you looking a little more put together than those old flip flops. If tennis shoes are needed throw some flats in your bag too!

After class throw that extra top on to cover up the sweaty one (and to cover up the tight top when the food and mimosas come) and I love to keep a cardigan handy because I’m always cold.

And lastly I just have to share my newest obsession: The Citrus Zinger! Yes, it’s exactly what you think it is and it’s amazing, you can zing anything! Water has instantly become fun to drink!
