Last chance to shop for the Holidays! I’m trying to keep most of my Christmas shopping to support local businesses so I’ll be out and about this week doing my best to shop local! So here are 5 ways to support small business, last minute, this Christmas!
How to Support Small Business with Last Minute Christmas Shopping
Gift Cards!
Gift cards to local businesses, restaurants, coffee shops, etc are such a great Christmas gift! I love that there is thought and love that goes into these versus just a Visa gift card! It’s a great way to support local businesses right now, but also is a great way to get friends & family in the door of those local businesses. They may have never gone otherwise!
Local Beef & Dairy Producers
A great gift for the guys in your life is some locally grown beef! Most of the men I know & love love a good steak. Bonus points if its a steak from a pasture down the road! We also love gifting local sausage & cheese for the holidays too! It supports our local farms and is some of the best meat & cheese you can get!
Local Stores & Boutiques
There are so many wonderful local boutiques! A lot that do in store pickup if you can’t make it out there, or who are still shipping! A lot have cut off Christmas shipping, but we are still shipping orders out next day with My Kind of Lovely! Local Wine
I’m all about an alcoholic beverage as a gift (to give and to receive!) so a great way to gift wine is to get some from your local winery! It’s a little more thoughtful than picking it up from a wine store and a great way to share the local love with any out of town guests or to try something new with your girlfriends this Christmas! I did a feature a couple years ago with our local fav, Tsali Notch!
Your Friends who Have Network Marketing Businesses!
Monat, Beautycounter, Matilda Jane, Arbonne, Young Living, Lipsense, etc! There are so many great products out there that your friends sell! Don’t miss out on gifting a quality product!! I know a lot of us keep extras on hand if you’ve missed the shipping cut off, but today’s the last day for Monat’s shipping if you did want some Monat for Christmas!
