Kensie dress, J.Crew top, Forever 21 belt and necklace, Pour La Victoire heels, Michael Kors watch, J.Crew bracelets, House of Harlow ring

Hello monochrome! I’ve really been wanting to try out a monochromatic outfit but never thought I had the right pieces.  With a little digging around I came up with this dress that’s been in my closet for what seems like forever and it happened to be the perfect piece for layering on the pinks!

On another note, I’ll honestly say the hardest part about being a style blogger is coordinating an outfit, a time (preferably during the golden hour) and a photographer.  This day I only had my lunch break to take photos and any good photographer knows that anytime during the day the lighting is just too harsh to make good quality photos. Well my friends, here you go, 1:00 photos.  Not the best but I do happen to like this outfit and with a little editing I don’t think they turned out so bad!

Happy Monday!  Here’s another purple and orange combo (first seen here) and I’ll have to say that I’m really loving these colors together!  I also can’t stop wearing these purple jeans and now that it’s officially spring I’m so excited to break out these shoes – a Christmas gift from the boyfriend (he was very proud of this purchase).  So here are just a few of my favorites right now all rolled into one outfit!

J.Crew top and skirt, Jessica Simpson blazer and shoes, Michael Kors watch, J.Crew bracelets, Max and Chloe necklace, Jewelmint rings

I wore this outfit yesterday to a trade show for work.  For me it’s the perfect mix of a professional outfit while still staying true to my personal style.  I’m lucky to have a job where I don’t have to dress business professional every day but it is nice to get dressed up every once in a while.  It’s also very important to wear comfortable shoes when you’re planning to be on your feet all day, I think even flats can become uncomfortable when you’re standing all day.  I chose these Jessica Simpson shoes to wear because they’re not too tall and fit perfectly so they were the ideal shoe for standing and walking around all day. Happy Friday!!

Express lace top [similar], Old Navy sequin top and jeans, Steve Madden wedges, ASOS clutch, Michael Kors watch, J.Crew and Forever 21 bracelets, Jewelmint ring.

This was actually what I wore on St. Partick’s Day.  I wasn’t prepared in the green clothing department and since I can’t shop at the moment (I gave it up for lent) I just decided to make do with what I had.  A mint green clutch and a little bit of green in my rings was just fine with me.  I also added a shamrock headband later and may or may not have found an Irish flag that I used as a scarf by the end of the night. ;) Hope everyone had a fun St. Patty’s Day!
