I made a few ASOS purchases over the past few weeks and I’m loving this dress! Floral pattern, a high-low skirt and a pretty back, what more could you want? On another note I tried out painting my pointer finger a different color (like I blogged about here) and I’m totally in love with it! I just did pinks this time but can’t wait to try it out with some other colors! What fun nail trends are you sporting this week?
Monthly Archives: January 2012
Victorias Secret PINK top, Old Navy sweater, Old Navy skinnies, Vince Camuto boots, vintage Coach purse, Elizabeth and James sunglasses, Spike the Punch and Forever 21 necklaces, Michael Kors watch, J.Crew and Jewelmint bracelets, hair tie
This seems to be my go-to outfit as of late. Comfortable, functional, and easy to throw on. After being under the weather last week I’m back in the swing of things and this week will be nothing short of busy! After a fun Bachelor viewing with best friends on Monday night and lots more to do this week it seems that outfits just like this one will be what gets me through. Thank goodness for “go-to’s”!
Old Navy top, Forever 21 faux fur, Free People cutoffs, J.Crew socks, Target booties (they look just like these Dolce Vita’s), vintage Coach purse, Michael Kors Watch, Jewelmint Ring, Max and Chloe necklace (20% off!), Elizabeth and James sunglasses
After feeling a bit under the weather for the past few days it’s felt nice to actually let myself relax for a little bit. Sunday morning was spent sleeping in, catching up on some reading (on the last book of the Hunger Games series) and finally getting dressed and getting out of the house for a little bit. We found this cute little spot by the lake and stopped for outfit photos before a dinner with family. The best way to recharge for a busy week ahead! Happy Monday!
Gap sweater, J.Crew skirt, Hue tights, Steve Madden pumps (on sale!), J.Crew coat (similar), Jewelmint, Max and Chloe and Luluka necklaces, J.Crew, Forever 21 and Jewelmint bracelets, Banana Republic and House of Harlow rings.
Colorblocking is such a fun trend and I love the way these two colors look together. I kept everything else black and added lots of jewels and I loved the way the final look turned out. Now only if the weather would cooperate…
J.Crew top, Victoria’s Secret jeans (similar), Ann Taylor heels and faux fur, Street Vendor purse (the real Marc Jacobs version), Target belt, Spike the Punch and Max and Chloe necklaces, J.Crew and Forever 21 bracelets, Michael Kors watch, J.Crew and Jewelry show rings.
Faux fur, sequins, and lots of jewels is my favorite way dress up a pair of boyfriend jeans. My Spike the Punch necklace that I won from a giveaway over at the Doctor’s Closet came on Monday and I didn’t hesitate to style it up. I’m in love with the turquoise and lavender color combo I picked out but all the color combos are so great it was a tough decision! If you would like to purchase a Spike the Punch be sure to follow them on twitter or facebook because they sell out as soon as their shop is stocked!
