Winter Brights
J.Crew pink top, Old Navy button down, Blazer from little brother (from when he was “little”), J.Crew belt, American Apparel skirt, Pour La Victoire shoes, Coach clutch, House of Harlow sunburst ring, Michael Kors watch, Jewelmint and J.Crew bracelets, Max and Chloe and Luluka necklaces.
Once winter rolls around I think it’s hard for just about everyone to not grab the dark colors from their closets. I tend to always go for the dark greys and blacks all winter long, so this winter I will be making a conscious effort to try to add more color to my winter wardrobe. Of course blacks and other dark colors are great but I hope to add in some brights and other colors into my winter rotation to keep things interesting!
Can we talk about these shoes for just a minute? I blogged about them here and have been so in love with them since but knew I wasn’t going to pay full price for them. As soon as they went on sale a shopbop I snagged them up with the extra 20% off special they did right before Christmas, and couldn’t be more happy with them! If you’re interested in a pair they do still have a few on sale here, here, and here. Happy shopping!
Holiday Rush
Gap top, Express skirt, target flats, Forever 21 necklaces, J.Crew bracelets, Michael Kors watch, Essie size matters nails and Sephora lips
The Holiday season is always such a happy and stressful time! This year I tried so hard to get all of my Christmas shopping finished before the week of Christmas so I could enjoy my time with friends and family the week of Christmas with minor stress. I did end up getting all my shopping finished but was so busy with Christmas parties and get togethers I had a hard time finding time for outfit photos! This is the only outfit from last week I had a chance to photograph but I promise to get back on track this week! I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas weekend!
Weekender

Forever 21 stripe top, Old Navy flannel, Old Navy vest, Victoria’s Secret jeans, Steve Madden wedges, J.Crew belt, Elizabeth and James sunglasses, J.Crew bracelets, Max and Chloe and Luluka from ETSY necklaces, Michael Kors watch, Essie Mod about You nails and MAC snob lips
I tagged along with my mom this weekend for one of her photo shoots and got to sneak in a few photos with the pup. Meet Romeo: my adorable and stubborn pup. Unfortunately he’s not one to pose for the camera, he was far too interested in the kids running around to sit still for a few shots (you can see him here too). On another note, I love this flannel shirt. I seriously can’t stop wearing it!
Trendy Fingers
From most of my previous outfit posts I think it’s pretty evident that I like to have my nails painted. I’m always willing to try new styles, colors and tricks with my nails so there’s always a lot of nail painting going on in my house. Here’s a little nail inspiration for those of you who are like me and are ready to try out the next nail trend!
{Love how BEE changed up painting your ring finger a different color (that I did here) to her pointer, and of course it is perfectly color coordinated with her outfit.}
{I like how Emily slightly changed up each nail but stayed in the same color scheme of black and gold, a great color combo for this time of the year!}

{Lauren Conrad’s Ombre nails, I’ve been wanting to try these for a while now! If you don’t have 5 different shades of one color of polish they say you can mix the polishes on wax paper to create lighter/darker shades.}
{Liz’s festive nails! Love how she stuck with two colors and just alternated every finger. You can use tape to create the stripes, just be sure the first coat is dry!}
